The pre-owned consumer goods industry is fast coming of age in Southern Africa and Cash Converters is leading this trend in retailing. Research has shown a higher proportion of South Africans shopping at second-hand stores, as well as a marked increase in a positive consumer experience of the industry. This has been true across the South African economic spectrum. Cash Converters Southern Africa has gone a long way towards achieving these objectives. There is a marked increase in the consumer ability to differentiate between second hand retail stores, as opposed to pawnshops or other outlets.
