What it's good for

🌙 Moon: Very good for a beginner — craters and surface detail are easy targets.
🪐 Planets: Jupiter's major moons and cloud bands, Saturn's rings, Venus's phases and some detail on Mars when conditions are favourable.
⭐ Stars: Excellent for bright stars and many star clusters.
🌌 Deep sky: You can see brighter objects such as Orion's Nebula, although the 70 mm aperture limits how much detail you'll see.

The 900 mm focal length and f/13 design make it relatively forgiving for planetary viewing, but this isn't a telescope I'd recommend if your main goal is serious deep-sky observing or astrophotography.
