A: Level 2 allows our stores to open for all trade. This means our stores can still buy, sell and loan cash.
A: The safety of our customers and staff remains our top priority during this time. All the government-mandated regulations will be strictly adhered to. Every person in the store is required to wear a protective mask. We will maintain 1.5-metre physical distancing queues, hand sanitisers will be available throughout the store and on entry, contactless card transactions are encouraged, limited cash is permitted, and the number of customers allowed in any area of the store at any time will be restricted.
A: All Cash Converters stores are fully operational according to the current lockdown regulations.
A: Cash Converters offers two loan products – unsecured and secured. An unsecured loan requires the completion of an affordability assessment as well as a credit check. A secured loan, which we call a Cash Advance, doesn’t require an affordability assessment or a credit check. If you’d like to complete a loan with us, please visit your closest store.
A: Every Cash Converters store is a registered credit provider with the National Credit Regulator. Fees are charged as per regulations to the National Credit Act, no. 34 of 2005, for short term credit transactions. For more information click here.
A: Our stores are treasure troves so the best way to find what you are looking for is to call or pop into your nearest Cashies store to confirm their stock availability.
A: Some of our stores offer lay-bys. Please call your nearest Cash Converters to confirm if they do. Terms and conditions differ from store to store, so be sure to discuss those too.
A: We have a 6-month guarantee policy on faulty items; faulty items can be repaired, replaced or refunded at the customer’s discretion. Please do note there are some items which are excluded from the guarantee – these items are listed on the back of your till slip and on our website. Please keep your till slip in order to validate your guarantee if you should need to do so.
A: If you want to know the price of the item you want to sell, it would be best to pop into any of our stores to chat to a buyer. You must be over 18 years of age and have any original proof of identity with you to transact with us.
