Consume less. Consume better. Here’s how.

A circular economy: the responsible choice

In times like these – where the economy continues to tighten – a transition to a circular economy is the sensible choice. Practically, this means three things. Consume less. Consume better. Create systemic change. With inflation at all-time high and the price of new items incrementally up across the board, insisting on a longer lease on the lifetime of an item is not only frugal but socially responsible too.

The circular economy explained

The circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of products is extended. In practice, it implies reducing waste to a minimum. As we buy and sell quality pre-loved goods, being part of the bigger circular economy, is at the heart of what we do. Besides being kinder to our customers’ wallets (and the environment), it also has a positive impact on communities as a whole.

How we contribute to the circular economy

Reduce, reuse, recycle has become more pertinent than ever. These elements are a huge part of our franchising business model… which makes franchising an important cog in the circular economy wheel. Franchising takes away the headache around logistics and importing – and the costs that come with it – as all of our goods come from our customers. In addition, we help our customers to contribute to the circular economy in their own small way too. A win all around.
