Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. These are values that we bring to life in every aspect of our business. Our aim with all of our quality pre-loved items is to extend their lifespan as much as possible; this is why the majority of our items come with a six-month guarantee. Every item that is brought into our store is cleaned, then resold, in a welcoming, professional, spotless environment – so that you can have peace of mind every time you shop with us. This is particularly true for our tech and jewellery items.

CC Tech – protecting data and information

Protection of data and personal information is paramount for us, which is why our IT operating system, CC Tech, allows us to manage, clean and re-install software on all types of devices – without items ever leaving the store. This piece of software can be plugged in from a store, connects to central software, and runs a diagnostic and report on the item. From there, we can determine the specs of the item, if a device is genuine or fake, and detect any pirated software ― before deciding if the item can be resold in one of our stores or online.

The JPC – giving jewellery a second lease on life  

Similarly, for any pre-loved jewellery that customers bring in, these items are sent to our Jewellery Processing Centre (JPC). This bespoke “workshop” at our head office allows our stores to send through jewellery items to be cleaned, evaluated, then returned to be sold – so that all of the jewellery we have (much like everything we sell) is ‘good as new’ at a bargain price.
