The 5 stages of a CC franchise business

1. Store pre-opening phase

A new franchisee is still getting trained and acquainted with the brand and how the business works – from securing a site to getting a team together to run the store.

2. Opening phase

The store is ready to trade. The training department is heavily involved during this stage, as the franchisee is still new to the organisation. We “hold the teams’ hand” to help them apply the business module on the ground.

3. Break-even phase

The franchisee and team understand the day-to-day running of the business. During this stage, the training team needs to make sure that the costs of production equal the revenue coming into the store.

4. Growth phase

By applying all the above stages, the store is at a stage where it needs to grow. Our main driver is making the store profitable.

5. Mature phase

A franchisee has gone through the five-year cycle, the store has been running successfully, loans are paid up and the store is working like a well-oiled machine. From here, our team helps the franchisee to build something meaningful.
